On Tuesday, Mr. Peter Geigel received the sad news that his
mother-in-law Mrs. Barbara Eigenberger had died suddenly
near Grimms. She was on her way home from Clarks Mills where she had been taking care of the family plot at the cemetery when she suffered a heart attack. Fortunately she had asked a young girl to go with her and that she had not been alone in the buggy when it happened. The deceased was 58 years old and a long time resident of the area. She leaves behind nine children, one of which is Mrs. Peter Geigel from here. The burial will take place on Friday afternoon at the church cemetery following the funeral service at St. Mary Church in Clarks Mills.
