John "Jack" Maney, age 78, of 15101 Old Irish Road, Reedsville,
died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010, at his residence.
Jack was born on Feb. 15, 1932, in Reedsville, son of the late Irving
and Laura (Gill) Maney. He was a graduate of Valders High School
with the class of 1950. On Oct. 19, 1957, he married the former
Alice Schuh at St. Mary Catholic Church, Reedsville. She preceded
him in death on Jan. 21, 2004. Jack was an owner and operator of a
dairy farm in Reedsville retiring in 1991. He was a member of the
Farm Bureau and the Holy Name Society, Clarks Mills.
Survivors include three daughters and one son-in law: Carol Maney and her
fiancé, Kit Wilson, Manitowoc, Jolene Maney, Chicago, Marla Maney Stenzel
and her husband, Brian, Green Bay; four sons and two daughters-in-law: Dale
Maney, Mt. Calvary, Keith (Tina) Maney, Chilton, Todd (Julie) Maney, Whitelaw,
Brian Maney, Valders; eight grandchildren: Marissa, Angelica, Ali, Brandon,
Camden, Madison, Emilee-Elizabeth and Parker; three sisters and brothers-in-law;
Elaine (Norbert) Neumeyer, DePere, Marlene (Dick) Oman, Fond du Lac, Nancy
(Dennis) Bonk, Allouez, one brother and sister-in-law; Tom (Eileen) Maney,
Manitowoc, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Bernice and Kenneth Brochtrup,
Reedsville, Corrine Staudinger, Reedsville, Eleanore and Donald Brunig Kissimmee,
Fla., Florence and Norbert Braun, Brillion, Germaine and Bill Hoyer, Brillion, Irene
and John Nenahlo, Brillion, Donald and Joyce Schuh, Sun Prairie, Edward and
Theresa Schuh, Pine Ridge, S.D., Leon and Carolyn Schuh, Reedsville, Gloria
Steinfest, Brillion, and Nancy Mathes, Chilton. Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends also survive. Jack was also preceded in death by:
brothers-in-law and an infant
sister-in-law; Harland Schuh, Ken Schuh, Paul Staudinger, and Mary
Schuh; his godson: Roy Braun, and a nephew: Dave Neumeyer.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010, at
St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. Officiating at the Mass of
Christian Burial will be the Rev. David Zimmerman with burial to
follow at St. Mary Catholic Church Cemetery, Clarks Mills.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
on Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills.
Jack was happiest when spending time with his grandchildren or when
on the golf course. Wintering in Arizona gave him ample time to
practice his golf swing and enjoy his retirement. He will be sadly missed
by his family, friends and golf buddies.
The Christianson & Deja Funeral Home is assisting the family with
funeral arrangements.
