ELLEN PEPPARD

Mrs. Ellen Peppard, 85, died at 8:45 a.m. Dec. 25 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Viola Preston, route 5, where she had made her home the paste seven years.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning, at 8:45 o'clock, from the Preston home and at 9:30 a.m. from St. Mary's catholic church in Clarks Mills with the Rev. Lawrence Loerke officiating. Interment will be at Clarks Mills.
Mrs. Peppard, nee Ellen Marlbrough, was born Nov. 29, 1858 at Clarks Mills.
She was married to John Peppard at Clarks Mills on Feb. 9, 1891 and the couple farmed near Clarks Mills until the death of Mr. Peppard seven years ago, after
which Mrs. Peppard went to live with her daughter, Mrs. Preston.
Survivors are two sons, Frank of Cato route 1, and John of Racine; one daughter, Mrs. Viola Preston of route 5; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Preston home from the Pfeffer funeral home today.
