MARION A. RAPPEL

Marion A. Rappel, age 88, formerly of 1828 Rankin St., Manitowoc, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2007, at Shady Lane Nursing Home, Manitowoc.

Marion was born on April 24, 1919, in the town of Rockland, daughter of the late Gilbert and Emma Tuschel Rappel. She was employed for the Foley Company as a press operator for 30 years, retiring in 1983.
Marion was a member of the AFL-CIO union local No. 415 of Foley Company, Manitowoc. She was a member of the St. Mary Rosary and Alter Society, Manitowoc Senior Center, and the Kubale O'Connell V.F.W. Auxiliary Post 6179 of Cato.

Marion was preceded in death by two brothers: Joseph and Bob Rappel; and one sister: Lucille Pozorski.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2007, at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall Street.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2007, at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Monsignor James Vanden Hogen with burial at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Clarks Mills.
