A Klamath County pioneer, Mrs. Griffith, daughter of two of the earliest
settlers in Poe Valley died. She was 89 years old. She came to Klamath County in
1886 and was married to Stephen Griffith. Surviving are a sister, Mary Royse of
Seattle, nieces, Mrs. Minnie Davis of this city, Mrs. Evert Griffith of
Springfiled, Mrs. Luther Holbrook of Jasper, Mrs. Robert Rosensteil of
Corvallis, Mrs. Myron Miller of Murphy, Oregon, nephews Douglas Bussey of Weed,
Roland Royse of Seattle, Jay Hanes of Williams, Calif., and Lee Bussey of
Portland.
