Charles Erwin O'Harro, 85, of 1941 Browning Blvd., Los Angeles, died Saturday in the Seaside hospital, Long Beach.

He was born in Watertown, New York on January 27, 1864, but grew to manhood in Clay county, Kansas on his father's farm. He married Emma Huckstep and starting farming for himself.
By 1920 he had moved to Paul's Valley, Oklahoma and was involved in farming and banking.
He then moved to Orange county, California where his brother, William Francis, was farming. Eventually, he went to Los Angles. With him were sons, Dustin Glenville, Eldon Patrick, and George Preston who were survivors of his passing.

Charles was a member of the Methodist church and Masonic Lodge of Osborne, Kansas, and India Temple of the Shrine of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Surviving Siblings, were brothers, James Byron of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, and John Wesley of Washington, Oklahoma; and sisters Harriet "Hattie" O'Harro Garwood and Mary O'Harro Janssen of Long Beach, California, Katherine O'Harro Nichols of Los Angeles, California, and Carrie O'Harro Anderson of Clay Center, Kansas.

Preceding him in death were brothers George Henry, William Francis, and Edward Horace; and sister Margaret Angeline.
