Archie D. Wilcox was born in Camp Douglas, Wis., May 28, 1869 and came to Corry 33 years ago. He was a painter and decorator by trade, for many years doing contracting himself and for the past several years he was an employee of Frank A. Wilcox. At the time of his death, Mr. Wilcox was council commander of the local branch, Woodsmen of the World, member of Corry Encampment, I.O.O.P., and trustee of Johathan Lodge. ...
He is survived by his widow, one son, Lyle and daughter Mrs. Inez Wilcox Johnson at home. Also a brother, S.J. Wilcox of Tomahawk, Wis ... burial at Pine Grove Cemetery."
