The Houston Post, Houston, TX, Mon, Apr 29, 1918: Mrs. Mary A. Doak, aged 83 years, died Sunday at the home of her son-in-law, James L Storey, 501 McGowen avenue. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J. M. Wallace of Dallas and Mrs. William Thomas of Minden, Nev.; two sons, J. S. Doak of Fort Worth and W. S. Doak of St. Louis; two grand-daughters, Misses Christie and Hildegrade Storey. The funeral will be held Tuesday morning at Lockhart, where burial will be made. The funeral party will leave Tuesday morning at 7:30 over the Missouri, Kansas and Texas lines.
