Hosea L. Adams, 60, of Marion died December 30 at 11:45 pm at John Cochran Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
He was born August 8, 1926 in Goreville to Harrison Adams and Leon Dunn Adams. Survivors include sons James Harrison Adams of Danville and John R. Adams serving with the U.S. Army in Germany, four sisters, Mrs. Jack (Sue Ellen) Keller of Marion, Mrs. William (Lillian) Zoeller of Marion, Mrs. Albert (Vera) Grill of Quincy, FL and Mrs. Thomas (Jean) Cassidy of Morris, IL and 3 brothers, Frank Adams of Oceola AR, Dennis Adams of Gower MO and Dale Adams of Marion. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and one sister.
He was a retired Lock and Dam employee. He was a retired Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict and was a member of the VFW and American Legion.
