FORT PAYNE – Olen W. Stone, 83, Rt. 1, Valley Head, died Monday at DeKalb Hospital here.
A funeral was Wednesday at Unity Baptist Church, Rev. Harold Beard officiating. Burial was in Unity Cemetery, Wilson Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Inez Nelson Stone; three sons, Paul Stone, Tuscaloosa, Charles Stone, Chattanooga, and Kenneth stone, Pisgah; five daughters, Mrs. Pluran Due, Spartanburg, S.C., Mrs. Durene Koger, Ider, Mrs. Mazelle Bowling, Arcadia, Fla., Mrs. Nell Wofford, Jacksonville, Fla., and Mrs. Mary Wells, Valley Head; 32 grandchildren; a brother, J. D. Stone, Rome, Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Elliott, Rossville, Ga., and Mrs. Mary Rochester, Greenville, S.C.
