Ruth Emily Koehl, 95, passed away Friday, October 28 at Adel Assisted Living. Visitation will be Monday, November 7 from 6-8 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Adel. Burial will be Tuesday, November 8 at 9 a.m. at Chapel Hill Gardens in Des Moines. Ruth's Memorial Service will be Tuesday, November 8 at 11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, Adel.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy; and six siblings.
She is survived by two daughters: Donna (Jim) Schelin of Battle Lake, MN and Jean (Jack) Sunderlage of Sandy, UT; eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; and five nieces.
