Ruth left for her family her "Life Story" and "Diary", which details her love for her children and her hardships of the 1920's. Ruth spent over 15 years battling Tuberculosis and spent these years mostly in the Hamilton County Tuberculosis Sanatarium in Cincinnati, OH. This is where the Diary was written, dates were July 1936- Feb 1938. She was very detailed in each account giving us dates, names, addresses, etc of her life. These documents were a gift to her family and treasured words.
