Scott Thomas Quigley Age 48 of Farmersville, Ohio passed away on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born April 22, 1964 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Thomas H. and JoAnn Quigley. At the time of his death he was survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Katherine (Carr) Quigley; son, Kyle Quigley; sister, Sharon Quigley; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kenneth and Peggy Carr; brother-in-law, William (Anna) Carr; nieces, Cyrielle and Tori Stansberry and Sarah and Madelyn Carr; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Scott graduated in 1982 from Miamisburg High School and from the Sinclair Police Academy in 1993 then went on to work as a police officer with Waynesville and Jackson Township. He proudly served for 12 years as a Trotwood Police Officer and Evidence Technician. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ. Scott loved to spend time with his family, woodworking, collecting antiques and boating. Visitation was on Thursday, April 11, at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, 508 East Linden Ave. Miamisburg, OH 45342. Funeral services were held at on Friday, April 12 at Trinity United Church of Christ, 203 East Linden Ave., Miamisburg, with Pastor Joe Getts officiating. Interment followed at Hillgrove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to any US Bank to help establish a college fund for Kyle Quigley or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
