On Oct. 31, 1946 after WWII, she married Clarence Mondell Rowe, son of Merton Percy Rowe and Opal Katherine Shafer of Albuquerque, NM. Clarence's parents moved from Missouri to Albuquerque, New Mexico during the depression to find work.
Her husband was a WWII Navy Veteran and fought many places in Asia. After his discharge, he worked in the Civil Service Department of the Army at the Armed Forces Special Weapons Project at Sandia Base, Albuquerque, NM and held a private pilot's license.
