PORTAGE LAKES -- J. Carter 'Popo' Buck, 82, passed away March 19.
Mr. Buck was born March 13, 1907 in Palestine, W. Va. He moved to the Akron area in 1927, where he worked at the B. F. Goodrich Co. for 42 years. He was a member of the Henry Perkins Masonic Lodge 611.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lucy; son, Earl (Mary) Mills of
Akron; sister, Icy Haywood of Colorado; four grandchildren; and seven great-
grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd., Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., with Masonic services at 7 p.m. Funeral service will
be held WednesDAY, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Paul George officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. (Bacher, 644-0024.)
