Overturning Tractor Kills Baldwin Man - WARNER ROBINS - A 32-year-old father of five children was killed near here Saturday when the tractor he was operating in a logging business overturned on him. Andrew Lee Kennedy was pronounced dead on arrival at a Warner Robins clinic at 11 a.m. Mr Kennedy had lived in Milledgeville for the past four and a half years. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. in Ohoope Baptist Church near Tennille. Burial will be in Tennille Cemetery with Gardner Watson Funeral Home of Warner Robins in charge of arrangements. Investigating officers said the tractor overturned on Mr. Kennedy in the woods when a log he was dragging caught in underbrush. A co-owner, Roger Bowen, brought him to the Warner Robins clinic. Survivors include his wife, Frances Boyd Kennedy; three sons, Andrew Stephens Kennedy, Curtis Kennedy and Ritchie Kennedy; two daughters, Mary Louise and Janice Lynn Kennedy; his mother, Mrs. Sally Kennedy of Alabama; two brothers, Joe Kennedy, Tennille, and William L. Kennedy, Macon; and two sisters, Mrs. Hubert Mathis, Tennille, and Mrs. W. C. Thompson, Macon. Mr. Kennedy was born in Washington County and had lived in Tennille before moving to Milledgeville.
