LAKEWOOD, Ohio - Greeley L. Carpenter, 75, of Lakewood, formerly of Roane County, W.Va., died July 28, 1997, in Lakewood after a short illness.
He was retired from Chalfant Manufacturing Co., Cleveland, with 35 years' service and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving: wife, Inis Brannon Carpenter; sons, Greeley D. of Riverside, Ga., David E. Carpenter of Lakewood; sister, Martha Carpenter Wallace of Canton; brothers, Roy of Spencer, W.Va., Clifford of Canton.
Service will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Leon Strickland officiating. Burial will be in Young Cemetery, near Linden, W.Va.
