May 25.-It is reported from Wheatland that Mrs. Blanche Harding, a prominent woman of this county and one of the heirs of the Lofton estate was found dead on the road a number of miles from town late to-night. It is supposed that she was the victim of a runaway accident. Mrs. Harding was in Marysville yesterday evening she left for Wheatland driving a spirited team. That was the last time she was seen alive, according to all reports. Mrs. Harding was the wife of Sherman Harding, the grandson of the late Mr. Lofton, and had for many years prior to the death of Lofton managed his affairs. The Lofton estate is now in a tangled condition, and Mrs. Harding was
