Mr. Henry Dunker and Miss Augusta VonEngeln of Ludell were united in marriage at the home of the bride's parents at High Noon, Wednesday, December 6, 1905.

The bride is the pretty and accomplished daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry VonEngeln, who are highly respected citizens of Ludell township--Mr. VonEngeln at present serving as Commissioner of the second district, and by her winning ways has made a host of friends.

Henry Dunker is the son of Mr. Herman Dunker, a respected and prosperous farmer of Ludell township, and is well qualified to conquer the adversities of life. The contracting parties have grown to manhood and womanhood in Ludell and number their friends by the score. They will begin housekeeping in Ludell, where Henry has employment in the general store of J. Biltz. After the wedding ceremony, performed by Rev. B. Ott, and congratulations, a wedding dinner was served. The following were present, Messrs and Mesdames Hy Wolters, Fred Reinitz, Herman Focke, Hy Holthus, Sr., Fred Kuhlman, William Stolte, J.P. The bride and groom were the recipients of many useful and valuable presents. In the evening the young people of the neighborhood were entertained at supper and danced until the small hours of morning. The Citizen joins the many friends of this excellent young couple in wishing them a most pleasant journey.
