Born on a farm near Manyberries, Alberta on June 23, 1923, the late Mrs. Dorothea Berringer was the oldest of five children born to Lawrence and Florence Biesterfeldt.
In 1944 she met and married Charles Berringer
Dorothea was predeceased by two infant sons, her husband Charles, her sister Doris (Paul) Bosse, and her sister Doreen (Bill) Dumont.
