Mrs. Mollie Greer
Mrs. Mollie Gertrude "Gerry" Greer, 73, of Jefferson, passed away Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004, at her home. She was the wife of Clyde Cecil Greer, her husband of 55 years.
Born Sept. 1, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Flora Lockhart Hall.
Mrs. Greer enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Sherry J. Harding and husband Gary of Ijamsville, Kathy J. Becker and husband Jim of Jefferson, and Brenda J. Bostelman and husband Roger of Frederick; four grandchildren, Lynda Harding, Philip Becker, and Ryan and Haley Bostelman; three sisters, Mary Dykes of Kingsport, Tenn., Joy Drummond of Waldorf, and Jean Peters of Wurtland, Ky.; a brother, Sam Hall of Damascus; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers, Carrie Alsup, Champ Hall, Ruth Poe, Loran Hall and Mae Anderson.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, in Frederick, on Wednesday, Oct. 20, from 6-9 p.m., where services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 21 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Tim May officiating.
Entombment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
