Thursa Jane Tindal, daughter of Thomas and Cynthia Tinnel was born in Peoria, Ill, March 23, 1873.
She was united in marriage with John Tindal at Taylorsville, Ky., Oct. 4, 1893. They farmed in the Louisville, Ky., area and about 50 years ago moved to the Austin community.
Mr. Tindal was employed by the George A. Hormel & Co. until his retirement. Mr. Tindal passed away in 1961 and since that time Mrs. Tindal has been a resided of Halvorsons and Raymond's Nursing Homes. She passed away at Raymond's on the morning of June 7, 1969.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 9 at 2 p.m. at the Jordan mortuary Chapel, Rev. Charles G. Pausley officiating. Interment was in Grandview Memorial Gardens with Thomas Moore, Roland Bellrichard, Floyd Lenoch, Harold Schriever, David Monty, Robert Tindal serving as bearers.
Mrs. Tindal is survived by one daughter, Mrs. William (Nora) Moore, Rochester; three sons, Samuel and Lee Tindal, Austin, Hollie Tindal, Rose Creek; 32 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by three sons.
