Funeral services for Bernard Whelan, 30, life-long resident of Woodbridge, who died suddenly on November 3, were held Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock at Greiner's Funeral Home and 10 o'clock at St. James Church. Rev. Fr. Charles Sutton officiated at the services. Interment was in the family plot in St. James Cemetery.

The bearers, were: Edward Nash, Ronald Armour, William Harrington, Bernard Dunigan, Herbert Schimpf and Nicholas
Langan.

The late Mr. Whelan is survived by two aunts and two uncles, Mrs. Catherine Flanagan and Mrs. Allan Connelly and M. P. Dunigan and J. B. Dunigan.
