Miss Margaret Starratt, the daughter of the late Henry Vance and Maria Louisa Pollard Starratt, who had many friends in the city and in the country, passed away at 8:30pm last night at the home of her mother, Mrs H Starratt at 1228 Copeland street. During the past three years she had been in failing health, and six weeks ago became seriously ill with lung trouble. She leaves, besides her devoted mother, two brothers: William H and Robert S Starratt and five sisters: Mrs Adolphus L Turner, Mrs NG Rousseau, Mrs Pulaski Broward, Jr. and Mrs RW Pinner and Sallie Starratt.

Funeral services were held yesterday at 2pm from the family residence at 1232 Copeland street, the Rev. Van Winder Shields, of St John's Episcopal church, officiating. The following gentlemen acted as pallbearers: Ira Starratt, Albert Williams, Neal Harrison, James McCormick, D Fender and Mr Burke. Interment was made in the family lot in Evergreen cemetery.
