Mrs. Caroline Comstock a pioneer of the vicinity of Courtland, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Cooper in Agricola, Kans. Friday of last week.
Mrs. Comstock and her husband lived on a homestead in White Rock township, coming there in 1873. Her husband died several years ago and she has since made her home with her daughter. She was 85 years old and the mother of ten children, eight of whom are living. Burial was made in the Pleasant View Cemetery.
