Was a strict, no-nonsense displinarian. Very opinionated, lifelong democrat. Demanded respect, was always right, even when he was wrong, argumentive. Law-abiding. Married to our mother 40 years, very devoted to each other. He trusted her completely. Let her handle all the bills, chores, cooking, but he made the major decisions. His favorite programs was "Honeymooners" and "All In The Family." He loved John Wayne and Clint Eastwood. Though he could cuss up a storm, he was a regular Church-goer and strong believer. Suffered a lifetime of dizzy spells. Stressed out easy. Loved socializing and family functions. Enjoyed talking about his military days, very gung-ho and patriotic. Belonged to the Teamsters Union, VFW and the Moose Lodge. On his death bed, he apologised to our mom for leaving her.
