Ruth Ann Alder passed away January 20, 2013. She was born July 2, 1972 in Idaho Falls, ID to Darryl P. and Josephine Bybee Alder, the youngest of four children. She moved to Spokane in 1976 and attended various schools, graduating from Shadle Park High School in 1991. She was briefly married to Caleb Rommel in Spokane. Ruth was a music lover, worked as a caregiver until her body could not keep up with her spirit, loved people and trusted everyone. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served with great zeal. She is survived by her mother Josephine Alder; sister Alice Anderson; brothers Paul (Lisa) and Andy (Patti) Alder; six nephews and five nieces all of Spokane. She was preceded in death by her father Darryl P. Alder; grandparents and a nephew Nathaniel Alder. Visitation will be 10-11AM Saturday, January 26, 2013 followed by a funeral service at 11AM at the Shadle Park Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2112 W. Francis Ave. Memorial contributions may be to the Lilac Blind Foundation, 1212 N. Howard, Spokane 99201.
