Muncie native Christopher E. Quire, 18, died Friday at his home in Anderson.

Mr. Quire was a resident of Muncie until he moved to Anderson eight months ago with his mother and stepfather. He was employed at Telecom Enterprises as a phone operator.

Survivors include his mother, Sally Quire Brown, Anderson; his father, Dorian Quire, Muncie; his stepfather, Alan Brown, Anderson; a brother, Nicholas S. Quire, Muncie; two half sisters, Ladonna June Quire and Melinda Ann Quire, both of Parker City; a stepsister, Tamaira L. Brown, Alexandria; a stepbrother, Timothy J. Brown, Fort Riley, Kan.; his grandparents, Jessie R. Cowell, Christopher V. Giesman and Preston Eugene Quire, all of Muncie; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Calling will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today in the mortuary.
