Mrs. Lucille B. Hinderliter, 87, passed away at DuBois Village on Wednesday, February 20, 2013.

Born April 14, 1925, in Warren, PA, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Ann Erickson. She married James L. Hinderliter on December 8, 1945, shortly after his return from the army, and they built a strong home and family in Falls Creek until his death in 2002.

She was a 1943 graduate of Warren High School and a member for many years of Christ Lutheran Church in DuBois. She worked for a time as a receptionist for Dr. Bill Lundgren in DuBois. She also served as a poll-watcher in Falls Creek at many elections.

She is survived by two daughters, Carol Ann Sattler and her husband Jerry of Madison, Wisconsin, and Judy Hinderliter Smith and her husband David of Durham, NC; one brother, Robert Erickson of Warren, PA; one sister, Delores Maxwell of Louisville, KY; and two grandsons, Matthew Sattler of Fort Collins, CO, and Andrew Sattler of Ann Arbor, MI. (A second brother, Donald Erickson of Champagne, IL, passed away earlier.)

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 25, 2013 at Christ Lutheran Church, 875 Sunflower Drive, DuBois, Pa 15801 with Rev. Robert J. Way officiating. A time to share memories and have an opportunity to view will be Monday from 1:00 to 2:00, the time of service. Burial will be in Beechwoods Cemetery, Falls Creek, PA.

Memorial donations may be made in memory of Lucille to Christ Lutheran Church, 875 Sunflower Dr., DuBois, PA 15801 or a charity of the donor's choice.
