Died At The Home of
His Daughter Sunday
Mr. E.G. Abercrombie, 69, prominent Claiborne parish farmer, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Pat Olive, Sunday afternoon after a long illness.
Funeral services for the deceased were held Monday afternoon from the family residence, with Dr. V.L. McKee, pastor of the Homer Baptist church officiating. Interment was in the Arlington cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, five daughters, Mrs. Jodie White, Mrs. John Ferguson, Mrs. Tom Kerlin, Mrs. Pat Olive, and Kate Abercrombie, all of Homer; four sons, Evans and Seals Abercrombie, of Henderson, Texas, and Tom and Drew Abercrombie of Homer.
The Guardian-Journal joins a host of friends here in extending sympathy to the sorrowing relatives.
