BLAKE - At 5:15 a.m., Wednesday, February 1, 1933, MRS. AMELIA ELIZABETH BLAKE, widow of William Blake, aged 93 years, in the residence, 509 West Liberty Street.
The body was removed to the funeral home of Graham & Sykes, 124 East Berkley Avenue. Funeral services will be conducted FRIDAY, February 3, at 11 a.m. in Memorial Methodist Church. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery

Mrs. Elizabeth Blake, aged 93, died at her residence, 509 West Liberty Street, at 5:15 a.m. today, after an illness of six months. She was a native of Gloucester County, Va. but had made her home in this section for the last 21 years. She was a daughter of the late Charles and Mrs. Mary Hanes Matthews and widow of the late William Blake. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary Holloway, of Norfolk and Mrs. Sallie E. Tolson, of Mathews County; three sons, George H. and C.A. ,Proctor, of Gloucester and W.E. Proctor, of Mathews; 8 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was a consistent member of Memorial Methodist Church. The body was removed to the funeral home of Graham & Sykes, 124 East Berkley Avenue. Funeral services will be conducted Friday morning at 11 o'clock in Memorial Methodist Church. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
