My grandmother was born in Bibian, Poland. She married August Sukkert February 21, 1906 in Prazucky, Poland. She came to the United States in July, 1913. Her port of entry was in Maryland, MD. Her alien registration # 1018451, Her Naturalization # 5625268, Milwaukee, WI. They had 10 children. See August Sukkert's biography. They lived on Shepard Avenue in Oak Creek WI and had a small farm. That is where they raised their children, including my father Ewald. Emma's parents were August Hoffmann and Pauline (Steinke) Hoffmann. They had 7 children; Emma, Fredrick, Karl, Olga, Wanda, Gustav, and Emil. Grandma may have been born June 20 1887 in Ostrowek, Poland. Grandma helped get people out of Poland in baby buggies. Aunts Wanda and Olga were born in mid Poland.
