MRS. SAVAGE'S FUNERAL HELD
Body Will Be Sent To Lynchburg, Va. This Morning For Burial
Funeral services for Mrs. Stella Hickor (sic) Savage of 1914 Park drive who died Thursday night in a local hospital after an illness of one week, were held yesterday afternoon at Douglas and Sing Chapel with Dr. E.S. Kraemer of First Presbyterian church. The body willl be sent to Lynchburg, VA., this morning for interment in Fort Hill cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Herbert C. Alexander, Frank DeArmon, Banks McClintock, W.D. Reid, R.F. Suther, L.E. Young, T.W. Smith, J.M. Culp, Floyd Sides, Henry Bridges, and Jimmy Sowell.
Mrs. Savage was born in Lynchburg, Va., the daughter of the late Frederick (sic) W. and Ida Hickory (sic). She was the wife of Thomas A. Savage, who survives her, and she was an active member of the First Presbyterian church, a charter member of Virginia Asher Bible class, and a member of Mizpah Chapter No. 36, Order of the Eastern Star.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Savage is survived by a brother, Louis Hickor (sic).
