Florence Mary Arthur was born May 25, 1914, to Bert and Rosie (Reed) England, in
Knox County. She married Josiah Arthur on April 11, 1931, in Bloomfield. He died
Sept. 11, 1988.

She is survived by two sons, Danny (Paula) Hunter of Indiana and Robert (Melody)
Hunter of California; one daughter, Sharon Bowlby of Indiana; a son-in-law,
James C. (Betty) Russell Sr. of Indiana; a brother, Lonnie England of Indiana;
two sisters, Juanita Dyer of Indiana and Emma J. Kitner of Indiana; seven
grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Russell, and three sisters,
Marjorie Pfaff, Lucille Clark and Bonnie Heron.
Mrs. Arthur was a homemaker and a retired cook for the Bethel Brethren Christian
School; and head cook at Indiana University in Bloomington. She formerly
attended Grace Brethren Church in Osceola. She died at age 90 at the Rosewood
Terrace Nursing Home.
