Excerpt -- Mary J. Ayersman Dixon, 76, of Robinson Run Road, Maidsville, passed away Sunday, Sept. 11, 2005, at her home. She was born April 8, 1929, in Morgantown, daughter to the late Raymond Earl Ayersman and Ada E. Smith Ayersman. She was a homemaker for many years and Methodist by faith. She is survived by one daughter, Loretta Jean Buterbaugh, of Maidsville; two brothers, Raymond Earl Ayersman, Jr., of Brookhaven, Richard Allen Ayersman, of Over Cheat; and one sister, Helen E. Bohon, of Brookhaven; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hills Cemetery.
