Mrs. Elvira J. Hudson, widow of the late J.D. Hudson of Butler township, died at her home near Rocky Creek church on Saturday afternoon, after several months of failing health. The deceased was 81 years of age. She is survived by seven children and a large family connection. The funeral services were held at the home on Sunday afternoon, interment being in the old Rector grave yard, near the residence.
