He was born May 13, 1916, at Perryville (Perry County), a son of the late Henry Harvey Booher and Fannie Farmer Booher.
He was reared and educated at Altheimer, where he attended school. He was a lifelong resident of the Altheimer and Wabbaseka area.
He was a retired commercial fisherman.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Pink Booher and Clyde Booher; two sisters, Joyce Lois Ray and Donnie Faye Sherill; and one half sister, Juanita Estes.
Survivors include three sons, Harvey Booher, Rickey Booher and Homer Lee Booher Jr., all of Little Rock; three daughters, Diane Norris and Linda Rice, both of Little Rock, and Debbie Ann Norris of Indiana; one brother, Stanley Booher of El Paso, Texas; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Flat Bayou Cemetery (Jefferson County) with the Rev. John Sandine officiating. Arrangements are by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors of Pine Bluff.
