Husband of Julia Tustin, son of Jonas Adams and Ann Steelman Adams. Served as Harbormaster of Philadelphia. Henry served as a member of the 205th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, Company B from 24 August 1864 until 2 June 1865. He mustered out with a Distinguished Service note on his record. This is the burial site of Henry and Julia Adams and seven other members of the Adams family. It had a grave marker and a Civil War Memorial marker until sometime in the 1980s when Greenwood Cemetery went into a court case about ownership. In 2005, that case is still not settled. The cemetery has become overgrown and vandals have damaged it, including Henry's tombstone. At one point, people even grew a vegatable garden on the grave! All that remains are the two foot stones. This is very sad.
