James Arthur, Jot,Cothren was born to Nolen and Maude Estelle Robertson Cothren. He had 3 half brothers and 2 half sisters. A. J., Wallace, Otis, Earline and Bondell. He married Retha LaNell Mullins and had 3 sons. Nolen, Mike and Tracy Cothren. He was a mechanic by trade and served in the U.S. Air Force. At the time of his death, by cancer, he was working for Braniff Airlines and living in Orlando Florida. He leaves behind two grand daughters, Miranda Nicole and Heather Jolyn Cothren, three grandsons, James Michael, Corey and Richard LaRue Cothren. He entered into eternal rest at the Baptist Hospital in Jackson, Ms.
He also has 4 beautiful Great Grand children, Taylor, Dominic, Haley, and Tevin.
