John took great pride in his home and yard in Lyman, NE. He spent many hours working in his lawn and flower debs and took great pride in the beauty he created. He and Shirley Winkle Allen were married on July 2, 1992.
John is survived by his wife Shirley and their beloved pet Katie Kitty; brother, Pat (Sharon) Allen of Yuma, AZ; sister, Judie (Bob) Brown of Ft. Collins, Co; daughter, Amy and family; friends Sonny and Carol Fowler, Jim Steinbach, Verlan Lee, Jack Storjohann, Jerry Lindsey, Jim Ware, Hank Cooper plus many nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held at a later date.
