Services for Pansy Barker Beyer, 89, of Paducah, Ky., will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 26, 2006, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl Dickerson and the Rev. David Comperry officiating. Burial will be in Mount Kenton Cemetery.
Mrs. Beyer died at 6:10 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2006, at Western Baptist Hospital.
A native of Boaz, Ky., Mrs. Beyer was a retired butcher's assistant for Gore's Big Star Supermarket. She was a member of Concord United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Wesley Sunday School class.
Surviving are a daughter, Pam Knott of Paducah, Ky.; four sons, Cliff Beyer, Mike Beyer, and Jerry Beyer, all of Paducah, Ky., and Will Beyer of Jackson, Tenn.; a brother, John G. Barker of Paducah, Ky.; fifteen grandchildren, Mona Hunerkoch, Danny Beyer, Michelle Anderson, Chad Beyer, Blake Beyer, Heather Shively, Laura Steinfeld, Amanda Knott, Jordan Knott, Jennifer Steger, Robert Beyer, Ryan Beyer, Chase Beyer, Chance Beyer and Lynn Newberry; twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Q. Beyer; a son, Ted Beyer; a great-grandson, Preston Steinfeld; four sisters; and three brothers. Her parents were William Gray Barker and Mamie Garrett Barker.
Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2006, and Sunday, March 26, 2006, after 9:00 a.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
