Mrs. John Turner, 67, 411 Apricot St., died at 8:55 this morning at Riverview Hospital after a week's illness. She had been a resident of the city the past 26 years. Funeral arrangements, which are in charge of the Baker Mortuary, have not been completed. Mrs. Turner, whose maiden name was Emilia Miller, was born in Pomerania, Germany, on Oct. 12, 1886, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Miller, and came with her. parents to the United States at the age of four years, the family settling in the town of Hansen, Wood County. She married John Turner at Pittsville on Oct. 26, 1905, and they lived at Ingraham for 10 years and then at Ladysmith until coming here in 1927. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Leonard, Milwaukee, and Ralph, Biron; two daughters, Mrs. Harry Cummings, Wisconsin Rapids, and Mrs. Elmer C. Abel, Vesper; one brother, Frank Miller, Wisconsin Rapids, and three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Graf and Mrs. Mike Fahrner, Wisconsin Rapids, and Mrs. Charley Dickey, Medina, Ohio, and 12 grandchildren. Friends may pay their respects at the Baker Mortuary.
