Howard L. Timm of Morristown died on Friday, April 12, 2013 at the St. Lucas Care Center, Faribault.

Services will be held at First Baptist Church, Faribault on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Daniel D. Mead, officiating. Interment will be at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Faribault with military rites provided by American Legion Post 149, Morristown.
Visitation will be held at Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Monday, April 15, 2013 from 3 to 7 p.m. and also in the church for one hour prior to the services on Tuesday.

Howard, the son of William F. and Selma L. (Michel) Timm was born on January 27, 1932 in Morristown. He married Betty Jean Sommerness on May 29, 1954. She preceded him in death on July 29, 2011. Howard graduated from Morristown High School in 1950 and served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. In 1954, Howard established Timm's Trucking in Morristown and the business has continued in operation with his family. In 1972, he opened the Morristown Car Wash. Howard was long-time member, deacon, and trustee of First Baptist Church of Morristown and First Baptist Church of Faribault, and a member of the American Legion Post 149, Morristown. He loved spending time with his family, listening to Gospel music, driving his trucks and his tractors, going south for the winter, and WWII history.

He is survived by four children, Barbara (and Darrel) Wegner of Burnsville, Danny (and Sandy) Timm of Morristown, Linda (and Brent) Sorenson of Mankato, and Randy (and Vicky) Timm of Morristown; 12 grandchildren, Nathan Wegner, Megan Kelly, Andrew Wegner, Benjamin Sorenson, Lucas Sorenson, Casey Timm, Cailin Timm, Zachary Timm, Madison Timm, Seth Timm, Brandon White, and Damien White; five great-grandchildren, Emma and Noah Kelly, Carson, Camrin, and Kenadie Rodriguez; two brothers, Glendon "Glen" Timm of Minneapolis and Russell Timm of Charleston, SC.
He was preceded in death by his wife Betty, and one grandson D. Michel Wegner.
