New Albany - William E. Adams Sr., 85, formerly of Cannelton, died Sunday, November 4, 2001, at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany.
He was born in Cannelton in April 1916 the son of the late William and Ada (Allen) Adams.
He retired from Old National Distillery in Louisville, Ky.
He was preceded in death by three sons, Bill, Charles and Wayne, two brothers, Charles and Arthur, and a sister, Mary Eva Gaither.
Services were held at 10 am Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Kraft Chapel in New Albany, with burial in Simons Cemetery in Tobinsport.
