1907 - June 6, Corry Journal - "Willis Skinner has severed his connection with the ... Medicine Company of Wheeling, W.V. and has accepted a position with N.W. Hull & Co., cigar manufacturers of this city."

1909 - March 11, Corry Journal - "Willis Skinner is falling rabidly [rapidly] and not expected to last the day out."

1909 - March 12, and 13th Corry Journal - "Word was received shortly before going to press that Willis Skinner, whose critical illness has been noted in this paper, passed away ... Mr. Skinner had been in ill health a long time, but only quit work about two months ago.

Willis Willing Skinner was born at the old home on Columbus Avenue, Jan 11, 1863 and had been a resident of this city practically all his life, in later years following the vocation of a traveling salesman.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen Cady Skinner, by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. O.D. Skinner and three brothers, O.D. Skinner, Jr., Edwin V. Skinner and Roy L. Skinner ..."

1909 - March 15, "The funeral of the late Willis Skinner was held from his home ... CLYDE WILCOX, Mrs. D.L. Bracken and Mrs. George Ream sang several selections ... remains were laid to rest in Pine Grove Cemetery."

1909 - March 18 --- Corry Journal - "IN MEMORIAM - Whereas it has please Almighty God to removefrom our midst brother Willis W. Skinner was a past worhty President and a valued member of our order, therefore be it ... published ... copy sent to his wife and relatives ... charter draped in mourning for a period of thirty days. ... Corry Aerie No. 789, F.O.E."

1909 March 22, --- Corry Journal - "RESOLUTION - ... heartfelt ... sympathy,and sorrow be forwarded to the family of our departed Sovereign. ... these resolutions be spread upon the Camp records and a copy be transmitted ... daily paper ... charter be draped in mourning for a period of thirty days.
