Judah Back was born on 10 July 1737, in Preston, New London Co., Connecticut. His father was John D Back I and his mother was Elizabeth Benjamin. He married Priscilla Gates on 30 December 1761, in Hampton, Windham County, Connecticut. They were the parents of 14 children. He died on 12 February 1821, in Hampton, Windham County, Connecticut at the age of 83, and was buried in Bare Hill Cemetery, Chaplin, Windham County, Connecticut.
He served as a Lieutenant with Connecticut Windham County, 5th Regt. in the Revolutiobary War. He Married Priscilla Gates; children: Aphia & Eastus.
