Obituary

Mr. Sylvester F. Mobley of Tampa passed away Friday, April 5, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 13, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel A.M.E. Church, 5001 Cumberland Drive, with Rev. Beverly Lane, pastor, officiating. Interment will take place in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
Mr. Mobley was a native of Madison, Florida and a resident of Tampa for 70 years. He attended Middleton High School and was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Bethel A.M.E. Church and Middleton High School Alumni. He was retired as a Journeyman at TECO.
He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Ocie B. Mobley; daughter, Sylvia (Charles) White; son, Gregory Mobley; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The remains will repose after 5:00 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2013, at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue, and the family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m.
Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:45 a.m. for the Funeral Service.
