Obituary

Dorothy Lee Hoskinson of Clermont, died Wednesday, March 27th, 2013, at the age of 73.
Born in Ferndale, Michigan, the youngest of three daughters, to Michael "Mack" C. and Rita E. Paquette.
Dorothy moved to Clermont in June of 1957 following graduation, and married her husband Jerry E. Hoskinson, in November of that year.
During her early years in Clermont, she had been an employee at Rambo's Florist, an active member in both the Clermont Garden Club, and Clermont Methodist Church.
She and her husband Jerry were co-owners of the original Clermont Firestone store, followed successively by co-ownership of the Clermont Shell Station, and finally the Orange Mountain Bar, Restaurant, and Fruit stand.
In later years, known too many simply as "Mrs. H", she actively participated in the Girl Scouts of America, 4-H, and both the Clermont Girls Youth and Women's Softball Leagues. She was adored by and will be remembered by many, for her offbeat sense of humor, quick wit, "capers", and general love of mischief. After raising five children, she decided to return to work, and was employed by Sy Aufseher, the former President of, Weight Watchers of Central Florida.
Dorothy is pre-deceased by her beloved husband Jerry (2000), Mother Rita (2005), and sister Jeroline (2008). She is survived by: her sister Mrs. Maxine Wessel (Robert) of Royal Oak, Michigan; Children: Lance Hoskinson, of Clermont; Amanda Hoskinson, of Groveland; Susan Hoskinson (Mark RoBards) of Groveland; Julie Manco (Angelo) of Eustis; Jason Hoskinson of Orlando; four Grandchildren; one niece and three nephews.
