He was preceded in death by an infant brother, brothers Victor Dagenais and Albert Dagenais; sister Rosalie Rosa Dagenais.

He is survived by his wife and siblings Adelard Dagenais Jr., Leona Theresa Dagenais, George Dagenais, Alfred Dagenais Dashner, John F. Dagenais, Leonard Dagenais Dashner, and Laurencia M. Dagenais.

Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
