She was born in Curtisville, PA on April 29, 1941, the daughter of Clarence Edward Nolker and Cora Mae (Watterson) Nolker, who passed away during childbirth. She was raised in Maple Grove, PA, by her grandparents, the late Harry E. and Mahala A. Watterson.
Charlene was a graduate of the Union High School class of 1959 and married David James Dehart on October 19, 1963. He preceded her in death on August 25, 2004. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. Charlene also enjoyed working in her gardens, canning and finding beautiful antiques. She will be best remembered as a loving woman who took pleasure in spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, James H.W. Dehart, of Sligo; sisters-in-law, Patty Dehart, of Parker and Janet DeHart, of Emlenton; and cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends, to whom she was fondly referred to as "Aunt Babe."
Along with her husband, parents and grandparents, Charlene was preceded in death by her brother, Harry; brothers-in-law, Richard, Thomas and Jerry Dehart, and special cousin, Rene Watterson Schmoll.
Per the request of the family, a private service will be held.
